Specially Designed Treatment Options for those having Speech Related Problems or Swallowing Disorders.
The aim of our V Care expert group is to provide special assessment as well as treatment options for those having speech related problems or swallowing disorders. The rehabilitation program aims to enable oral cancer patients, who have undergone surgery or patients facing such problems as a result of post traumatic causes, neurological disorder, stroke, brain damage, anomalies at birth etc, with programmes to regain back their normal ability to swallow and enable fluency of speech.
Our V Care team comprising speech-language pathologists aided with the supervision of neurologists & rehabilitation specialists help patients to slowly & steadily overcome this problem by helping them get accustomed to words & sounds (phonics). They may also recommend certain physical exercises in order to strengthen the vocal cord, thereby, slowly helping them to lead a normal life.
